Bring a friend and explore together the dark passages of the third longest lava tube in North America. Inside the cave expect uneven terrain, pitch black conditions and a constant temperature of 42 degrees F ( 6 degrees C ).

So in short, bring:
- a Sack Lunch & snacks (we'll have some bread for making pb & j sandwhiches, and some clif bars on the return trip.)

- a warm coat & clothes (maybe hat)

         it's chilly in the cave 

- a flashlight-lantern / head lamp  (we'll bring extra batteries (if you don't have one we'll bring some spares)

- some sturdy shoes ( we'll be walking on a lot of uneven terrain) 

- a water bottle

11:15 AM    Load up in Vans @ Calvary's Park Lot off of 38th Ave

1:00 PM    Arrive at Ape Cave

1:30 PM    Start Cave Diving

   3:00 PM   Ascend in the Light & Hangout

   3:30 PM   Walk surface trail back to Vans

   4:00 PM   Return Trip

   5:30 PM   Pick up @ Calvary's Park Lot off of 38th Ave

I give my permission for the minor child named above to participate in all activities of the event named above and to be transported by a church vehicle (van or bus) when necessary. 

Activities are supervised with careful attention given to safety. In the even of an injury or illness, every attempt will be made to contact you. In the event that you cannot be reached, your signature below will give us permission to seek any medical assistance we deem necessary. Also, the undersigned parent or guardian does hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the participating churches, their officers, directors, employers, agents, successors, and assign from any and all claims and liabilities arising out of or in connection with participation in the event listed above by the minor named above. I also authorize Calvary Community Church/events to use photos or videos taken of my child at events for promotion & advertising including but not limited to brochures, articles & websites.
